I am a dyslexia specialist with over 15 years experience as a speech language pathologist working with people of all ages on their language abilities, including reading and writing skills.

I’ve been extensively trained as a Dyslexia specialist and Lexercise therapist using the Science of Reading and Orton Gillingham approaches, which are current evidence-based practices.

Using teletherapy, I can give you the flexibility and one on one personalized therapy at the comfort of your home and on a scheduled time that fits with your family needs.

“My son really enjoyed working with Kim. He's quite shy, but she was engaging, upbeat, and fun to work with. His confidence in the sessions grew tremendously as a result of her cheerfulness and clear instruction. Even his teachers at school noticed a sharp change for the better in his reading skills. She was really able to explain the rules of English language in a concise, easy to remember way. Kim is a fabulous therapist!”

Dyslexia Therapy

Dyslexia is more than just a difficulty with reading; it affects various aspects of literacy and learning. My dyslexia therapy services are designed to address these challenges comprehensively.

·      Individualized Assessment: As a speech pathologist, I can complete a formal dyslexia diagnostic evaluation to understand a person's specific strengths and areas of need, provide a plan of care with individualized goal objectives, as well as provide diagnosis codes to assist in requesting for accommodations in school.

·      Personalized Intervention Plans: Customized therapy plans that focus on phonemic awareness, decoding skills, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

·      Multi-sensory Techniques: Engaging methods that utilize sight, sound, and touch to reinforce learning and retention.

·      Progress Monitoring: Regular assessments to track progress and adjust interventions as needed.
